Eventually will cough out pink frothy sputum drowning in your own blood: congests in lower body/periphery = right sided failure. Co = amount of blood pumped in one minute. Preload = determined by venous return, volume of blood that enters the ventricle during diastole. Too much or too little decreases the amt ejected = degree of stretch created by amount of blood.
