Ontario regulated health professions legislative framework part ii: The world health organization defines collaborative practice in health care as occurring. When multiple health workers from different professional backgrounds provide comprehensive services by working with patients, their families, caregivers and communities to deliver the highest quality of care across settings. We work with pt, rt, dietician, social work, ot, psw, unit clerks, pharmacy, etc. There are some categories that are unregulated (psw, unit clerk, patient) that we work with. Critical thinking skills they way we are educated, looking beyond the obvious facts leadership/management. Nurse factors if the case doesn"t"t involve a lot of independent decisions, an rpn might be okay. Rpn would have patients such as: nursing homes, low risk, sub-acute care, no negative outcome risk really. Critical care areas, post-op patients, emerge, increased risk for adverse events. In acute care now (hospitals), if you"re not acute, you probably wont be admitted.
