Management of elevated triglycerides focus on: weight reduction, limiting fats, sugar, alcohol, smoking, physical acitivity. Kids try to limit sugar and salt intake (20g per day) Trans fats are artificial (bad) lower hdl and increase ldl. Hydrogenates fats solid at rt, clogging.
