What is knowledge: the word know is a success term knowledge matters, if you have doubt you don"t use the word know maybe use think, believe, etc, it is a justi ed true belief. Justi cation excludes opinion: knowledge needs to be justi ed because otherwise it would be true because of coincidence.

1) Your timing error can be as much as 0.2s. Why was it better totime twenty cycles and find the average time rather than to findthe time for one cylce twenty times and average the results?

2) If you displace the end of the spring a little or a lot, inother words if you change the amplitude of the oscillation, theperiod will be exactly the same. How can this happen? what is thediffrent about the motion of the spring? How does this relate tothe equations you used in this experiment?

In a lab that I am doing for one of my Physics classes, it asksa couple questions that I don't totally understand...

-The lab is about Newtons Second law whereF=Mass*Acceleration

-We have a motion sensor setup to detect the motion of an objectmoving because of gravity(acceleration).

-They give us the theoretical model x(t) = At² + Bt + Cin order to extract acceleration values from the position data.They tell us "The prediction is that acceleration is a constant, soan appropriate model is of the form..." previously typed where A,B, and C are constant parameters.

Here are the questions it asks...

1) Why is this the appropriate form?

2) What physical quantities do these parameters have?

3) What is A and how is it related to acceleration?

I know that B = inital velocity and that C = initial position,but what is A, or I guess what is the mathematical relationshipbetween A and acceleration?

I will rate GOOD and QUICK if you can help me understand thesesimple questions!
