Aristodemus (not super trustable source; this is where apollodorus got story of symposium) Platonic love /non-romantic love not what is being talked about here. 3 different words for love: eros : god of love, physical, passion, romantic, agape : spiritual love, love of divine things, philia : friendship love, affection, significant emotional attachment, philosophy-based love.
