Written in seminar in the week beginning october 19, 2015 on unit #1 mapping the. The responsive note is a learning unit reflection" worth 5%. No aids will be permitted and paper will be provided. Therefore, it is imperative that students have knowledge of the readings in the unit. The reflection will be one or two pages long (single-spaced) or two to four double-spaced pages (about 500 words). The point of the responsive note is to present your personal assessment of the unit, to reflect on the material and its meaning(s). The reflection should present knowledge of the unit"s main themes but also give insights into how you perceive the unit. In preparing to write the responsive note, ask yourself what themes and issues you found most significant, and how they enhanced your understanding of politics or political science.
