In his view they are permanent, eternal, indestructible and real. They exist whether we are looking at them or not. Forms are not entities, lies, propositions, social constructs; they are real. Proof: can be accessed from anywhere in the world. Forms are about the essence or the essentials of an idea, and are sometimes linked to objects. (ie. the human form is manifested as a human being. According to plato the objects we can see are unreliable about the sources of the forms. Forms are more real than objects; objects get old, break etc.
