Many walking actions performed out of awareness. Occurs in stage 4 (not a part of a dream) Walking by motor memory most of the time tends to run in families: sleep talking. Occurs in lighter stages (1 or 2) Sensitive to external world: sleep talking and walking have no real cause, night terrors. When asleep, child suddenly sits up, screams.
