It"s one thing (unitary: the one thing is the g-factor, each aspect is so highly correlated that it"s one thing. It is many things: they are not correlated like spearman says, they are actually independent primary abilities, no such thing as g-factor, they can correlate between one another but they"re not all correlated to the point of unitary. These differences in number are due to the number of tests and factors included. Cattel: fluid v. crystallized, with age fluid intelligence may decrease but crystallized intelligence may increase. We may know, but there"s other ways to know . How you position yourself when you like someone v. when you don"t. Nonverbal channels: paralanguage, facial expressions, eye contact, body movement/language, interpersonal space. Noncontent aspects of speech: tone, speed, amplitude, rise time/fall time, hesitations. May reflect other cognitive states, e. g. comprehension/understanding when you smile and nod. Typically in conversations: 3s, 30% mutual eye contact, 60-70% gazing.
