Parasympathetic division: dominates under conditions of relaxation, conserve and replenish body"s energy, decreases heart rate, and blood pressure. Brain damage studies: animal studies, measures of verbal and non-verbal behaviour that are known to be effected by. Areas of the brain are damaged or surgically removed and evaluate effect: human studies: Study effects of damage following accident, stroke, or surgery.
