Stage vs. continuous theories: stage = qualitative differences between stages, continuous = can just do everything better or more of it in the next stage. Piaget: know his theories, stage theory what is necessary to move on to the next stage, don"t know the ages. Problems with piaget: kids do show some object permanence. Social development: erikson"s theory, attachment, moral development.
