Is easier to diagnose than other pds because of the conspicuous, deviant behaviours, e. g. cruelty to animals: most sociopaths and serious offenders meet diagnostic criteria for apd. Inappropriate irritability or expression of anger: recurrent suicidal behaviour, gestures, or threats, chronic feelings of emptiness and emotional instability.
