No two people are alike, not even identical twins. These individual differences tend to be stable over time and consistent across situations. Personality individual differences in traits and behavior that are stable over time and consistent across situations. There are 4 difference perspectives: behavior perspectives pavlov, skinner, bandura, humanistic perspectives rogers, maslow, biological perspectives, freud(cid:859)s psychodynamic theory. Freud was never trained as a psychologist, he was trained as a medical doctor and his specialty was in neurology. In his practice, he came in contact with patients who were suffering from hysteria: they had unusual symptoms (i. e. suddenly becoming blind or paralyzed) but there was no physical basis for these symptoms. Example glove anesthesia (glove paralysis) when the patient loses all feeling in the hand from the wrist down, however, the way nerves are distributed in the hand, this is physiologically impossible.
