Bees can communicate both distance and direction through their dance. Use this dance to communicate about the direction of food & water. Hive mates know where to fly, but not what they"ll find when they get there. Alarm call vocalization to warn other members about approaching predators. Vervet monkeys have different alarm calls for different types of predators. Vervets have a language of three words. This language is part innate and part learned. Monkey calls cant be used in a wide range of contexts like human words. Dominance hierarchy a social system where each member knows who ranks above and below.
