Bursting aneurysms is a common cause of this an aneurysm is a balloon- like dilation that forms in the walls of the artery that ruptures at a point where the elasticity of an arterial wall if defective. Aneurysms can occur in any part of the body. Aneurysms may be congenital (present at birth) or due to poison or an infection: cerebral ischemia: disruption of blood supply to the brain (usually from a blood clot), causing an ischemic stroke.
