If common outcomes can be identi ed within ppl who are genetically similar but have had very different learning experiences then an inherited biological capacity is likely a factor. Hobbes: original sin - children are inherently sel sh. Rousseau - innate purity; children are born w intuitive sense of right/wrong; corrupted by society. Identical twins more alike in their helping patterns than fraternal twins. Heritability: % of differences that exist among ppl thats inherited (may be due to heredity: neonate studies: havent been socialized yet (no experience/in uence of environment) Eg when one baby cries another one will start crying. Darwin; survival of the ttest (through natural selection advantageous traits are passed on) Either hide (save self) or make call to warn others (invalidates theory of evolution)
