Depicted with red hair as a symbol of eroticism and love. Boundary of not lapsing or crossing to far. Vampiric emphasis (due to body position and her being naked, man being clothed) The dance of life, munch (prof doesn"t care about the life of the artist, but if the works from the artist resonate with their viewers) Or can be seen as an image of jealousy. Or theme of vampire (women in red) femme fatale. Transgressive figure of the time period: brings the erotic, romantic, and madonna together in one image.
