Audio art panorama: due january 26th by 11:55pm, submit on owl in sketchbook folder, can do it with a partner. Objective: to create a 30 second audio artwork using panorama photo for inspiration, contains a minimum 5 audio captures . Layers sound over sound: uses all your knowledge this far from sa 1601 to design your audio artwork. Process #1: go outside building -> wander sound campus, find location -> take panoramic photo, stay on campus. Keep track of your audio captures: ta giving each person/partnership an audio capture recording list, fill it out! It is due at end of your studio lab give to ta: take a photo of list and upload photo to owl audio art assignment under assignment tool, example of list. Translated from visual to audio: composition, symmetrical, asymmetrical, baseline. Line and value: positive and negative space, repetition, harmony and variety. Laptop to mic/ edit audio capture: mixing software, audacity.
