Every student is required to have a sketchbook that is specifically for this class. This sketchbook is worth %20 of your final mark. The sketchbook should be used for research as well as the weekly sketchbook assignments that will be introduced throughout the course. They will be checked periodically however the books will be collected for twice for evaluation, at mid-term and at the end of term. In addition to weekly assignments, it is required that this book is used for artistic research and material experimentation, such as: Notes for critiques/ notes taken during critiques. The sketchbook should be at minimum 8 x 11 inches in scale with good quality paper.
