Criteria of testimony: plausibility claim is plausible is it could be true and if it fits with what you already know, reliability is the person giving the testimony trustworthy, restricted to personal experience. Someone who knows more about a subject than most people. Statement with the word or in it. Ex: we can go to the movies or we can go out to diner. Only one of the disjuncts can be true. I can either drive us to the airport or we can take a cab. Two or more of its disjuncts can be true. Other plausible alternatives have not been mentioned or considered. All or nothing : there is no way we can afford to fix everything that is wrong with our car, so we might as well not spend any money fixing it up, choose between fixing everything and fixing nothing.
