It also asks students to think critically about the classroom and the iniversity. We are living in a modern world generally the modern world is predominated by a certain mindset. World was based on religion and certain people - church - people listened because thats what they were told. Through reason, we can be free, thinking for ourselves - we are not lemmings with the herd mentality. Modern gave us promise - you will be free, happier and more peace on earth if you follow our lead. Totalitarian - when the government completely controls their people and gets them to do horrible things.
