Law gives government the power to act for the benefit of society in general it empowers, influences, and controls the actions of the government. Law regulates individual"s interaction with each other it influences and controls interaction between individuals. Rule of law established legal principles that treat all persons equally and that government itself obeys. Public law law that regulates the conduct of government and the relations between government and private persons. Private law law that regulates the relations between private persons and groups of private persons. Morals are optional standards whereas individuals must comply with the law. Tort a wrongful act causing harm to the person or property of another; fault and causation are the heart of modern law.
