Accelerates ime-to-producivity by compleing beneits decisions, payroll forms, new hire data, introducion of policies and procedures, and preliminary socializaion. Socializaion: the ongoing process of insilling in all employees the prevailing aitudes, standards, values, and paterns of behaviour that are expected by the organizaion. During the ime required for socializaion to occur, a new employee is less than fully producive. Reality shock the state that results from the discrepancy between what the new employee expected from his or her new job and the realiies of it.
