Mentally ill are often put into jail, and they don"t get the proper treatment that they need. They don"t understand the difference between what is right and wrong. Low education didn"t finish highschool which in some places is cultural. Family discord they have a dysfunctional family. Housing being left homeless, not having any references to get their own place. Not in my backyard (nimby)- the community helps to get programs and help for. Social support- no family and friends to visit them in jail offenders in their area.
