Government crime: state crime, state-corporate and political crime. State crime: carried out by the state done by individuals. Political crime: done by individuals who are political (personal gain) State-corporate crime: corporations work together to commit a crime. Abuse of power: very selective, human rights violation, it"s illegal and done in secret. Political scandals: social media, tv, different issues of wcc. Nazi and us examples: berlin, 9/11, human rights violation because the fear of unknown. Acts of genocide: ethnic cleansing, 1994, selective killing. Involved the denial of human rights: they won"t engage in the harm, but will stop people from voting under the international human rights law. South africa apartheid and others: denied education, voting rights, fundamental rights are denied. Stealing from tax base: no democracy, freedom of crest. Crimes of omission: the government fails to do something, and the people are suffering. Failure to act: you know something but you don"t do anything.
