Phonographic means a symbol that represents a vocal sound (alphabet) Literacy becomes more accessible because it"s so much easier. Spoken language tied to the spoken language = more accessible and easy fuck ya (allows for the connection of knowledge) In an oral culture, all that is known is all that is known, but when you write, the quantity of available knowledge is massively increased.
