Document Summary

Creating a pollinator habitat on the wlu campus. My garden has a large variety of plants, which will also lead to a large variety of species. The goal of my garden is to be a place where pollinators can come, my garden will help the surrounding ecosystem. A lack of pollinators in an ecosystem leads to habitat loss and degradation. Pollinators moving pollen from plant to plant causes a production of fruits and seeds. These foods are important sources for humans and plants. The native species that im growing in my garden are ones that are seemed attractive to the pollinators in the everywhere. The world depends on pollinators, they are needed for plant reproduction and help with plant diversity. The more diverse the stronger your garden is against the weather. The bombus pensylvanicus bee will be the main pollinator in my garden, the flowers i plant are rewarding these bees for their service.
