Document Summary

Unequal distribution of resources: rich resource base vs poor resource base. Canada is a wealthy country and is rich with natural resources. Democratic republic of congo is incredibly resource rich yet it is one of the poorest. Japan is one of the wealthiest countries but it is resource poor countries in the world. In countries in which resources are poorly governed the resources become the source of war. Global governance: the ways in which global economic order and rules governing it are not exactly fair and do not put everyone on an equal playing field with the west higher up then the south. The democratic republic of congo was managed by a dictator who used the country"s wealth by redirecting the money to swiss bank accounts, making the citizens not as well off. Patterns of war and conflict: if you look at the list of rankings between undeveloped versus developed those underdeveloped countries have the most conflict.
