The germans decide to go through the wooded area of ardennes. Britain and france are not interested in launching their own attacks on the west. Sweden is providing iron to the german war effort. During the summer months the iron ore travels across the baltic sea from sweden to. Germany but in the winter the baltic freezes so the iron travels by train to norway then by ship to germany. In early 1940 they are planning to put mines along the route that the ships follow, or send an expeditionary force to norway where the shipments come in. On the 9th of april 1940 germany invades denmark and norway. About a month later the germans invade and the war starts. Due to the split in france, some argue to ght against the germans no matter what they lose. Germans occupy the northern half of france and the atlantic coast and the rest remains independent.
