O: radial side of the ulna, middle 1/3 of ulna and adjacent interosseous membrane. I: distal phalanx , extends beyond point of brevis muscle. A: extend both phalanges ( metacarpal phalangeal joint, carpometacarpal joint and interphalangeal joint) O: posterior surface of ulna (distal 1/3) and interosseous membrane. I: distal end of 2nd metacarpal (index finger) into extensor expansion of 2nd digit.
