The us newspaper reported on the canadian healthcare system. Canadian system is poor and does little to correct commonly held misconceptions on their policy system. The problem with a us news company reporting on a canadian topic is that they don"t have the networked needed to cover both sides of the story. This means that the common misconceptions with be unconsciously incorporated into the story, favouring a bias. The us uses media to promote their advantage to the public by portraying faults the canadian healthcare system has made. The point that the us isn"t well knowledged in the topic is a fair point to be said. The us journalist should report on their own countries issues or remove all biases from previous knowledge on the canadian system and research their own new perspective. A second point made is canadian heath system is poor. They say this because healthcare in canada is fair unlike the us, which is economic based.
