Politics- activity related to in uencing, making or implementing collective deacons for a political community (laurier, waterloo, ontario, the world all political communities) Process is important in politics (people need to feel they have been taken into account) There are limited resources (money, bene ts) but there are many demands. Decisions made to decide where these go, who gets what, is politics. We need a process to decide which groups and which goals receive support. We need to resolve any con icts that could arise. Avoid violence to resolve con icts, we want to nd compromise. Religion, human rights, division between church and state (quebec), sexuality, race issues. Quebec religious neutrality law example: guest speaker brought in to defend it defence was that quebec did not sign the constitution/charter quebecois, quebcor, you some to quebec you become a quebecor.
