Society allows you to do what you want. Avoids collective responsibility: procedural secularism, public policy which declines to give advantage or preference to any one religious over the other. This does not mean that we dismiss them. But, you must attempt to persuade the population and that such a religious policy should be desirable. Post secular world: rise of the spiritual but not religious , transcendent questions, limits of science and technology . What does faith have to contribute: prophetic voice the voice on the outside that challenges conventional wisdom. Ex. poverty, environment issues etc: moral ambiguity although there are moments when you want to protest, there are other times when your faith does not give you the clear answer.
