Are a set of related, generally consistent ideas and beliefs that provide a basis for political action. The advocacy of women"s right on the grounds of political, social and economic equality to men. Key: in order for women to be equal to men, they must be able to vote, and run for office. Key: equality in all things education, work, pay, dishwashing, etc. Key: response to the second wave, acknowledging that the goals are still not met. Capitalism and complete devaluation of domestic work and childcare hold women back. Overthrow capitalism and get rid of family as an economic unit. Cant ignore the connections between race and class. Inequality is rooted in the legal and institutional discrimination that denies women complete personhood. By changing policies and laws to ensure political rights and participation. Human centered ethics are seen to be at the root of environmental problems.
