Should the death penalty be legal (can also be a moral and ethical issue) Try to clarify reasoning, want to be clear, avoid vagueness, be specific. Point out why you cant happy a strict condition; when a concept s vague you can point it out and say why it is vague. This idea of attempting to provide definitions and clarity; Legal dic. reports how law officials use words in context. Have to be constant with application of concepts and therefore must understand the concepts and if its unclear you must clarify the concept. In philosophy your no just a report of a concept but you are also clarifying concepts. You are concerned with drawing the conceptual road map, how different they are and how they relate. Need to think about detail and then what they mean and how they are defined, inter- rupted, and balanced necessary and sufficient conditions.
