Habituation is learning something and then gradually not using it anymore. Immune system responses is very much one of things that classical conditioning orders. It also deals with addiction and sexual responses: remember this is automatic and intentional food, you salivate. Signal-a stimulus, any stimulus, relying on a predicting that another stimulus will happen and it has to rely to that prediction otherwise its not a signal. The cat and the can opener sound, making the cat come because he associates him getting food once he hears the can opener sound. Keep putting the light on and then give food, keep doing that. Once it happens enough times the dog associates turning on the light(stimuli) to the food(event) Us (or ucs)- the unconditioned stimulus, the thing being signalled, the thing in the environment. The ur or ucr(unconditioned response) the normal response, what normally happens, the salivation, its not taught, you salivate because you need that to eat.
