Feeling that something bad is about to happen. May be associated with a particular situation or object, or it may be. Fairly continuous experience of non-specific and free-floating anxiety. Excessive non-specific anxiety and worry lasting for 6 months or more. Some people report that a panic attack feels like a heart attack. Repeated panic attacks and ongoing fear of future attacks. Persistent, irrational fear of some specific object, situation, or activity that poses no real danger. Realize fear is irrational but compelled to avoid the feared object or situation. Fear of interacting with others, avoid social situations. Fear of open places or being in a situation from which escape is difficult or impossible. Obsessions: persistent, recurring, involuntary thoughts, images, or impulses that invade consciousness and cause great distress. Doubt as to whether a certain act was performed. Compulsion: a persistent, irresistible, irrational urge to perform an act or ritual repeatedly.
