Interoceptive conditioning has important implications for psychosomatic medicine (medicine that has impact on brain and the body) 1 group: ice cream -> chemotherapy (nausea) -> aversion to ice cream. 2 group: ice cream -> drug therapy (no nausea) -> no aversion to ice cream.
