It seeks to bring someone to you for your own pleasure: lust, cupidity: a person who chases after things to make them mine , erotic love is not a synonym for sexual love. It includes sexual attraction, material consumption for one"s own benefit: another quality tends to have a recurring quality to it. When people feel erotic love for someone or something one might get what they want to possess, but the feeling of longing/ yearning will always come back, switching its target to something new: satisfying desires and wants.
