Human capital: the abilities, skills, knowledge, and experience that an individual or a group of individuals possesses. Stratification system: a consequence of collective judgements by which society (presumably people in general) evaluates the worthiness of a person"s occupational position with regard to its importance or its contribution to the collectivity (grabb. People might have high status (ability to influence, power), but may not be the wealthiest. Human capitalism is too much based on economism -- there is also cultural capital.
