-Women are never given full information about their reproductive system, they’re only
educated on safe sex
-Sexologist / the say what types of sex acts are normal and okay and which ones are not
-Sexology considered same sex relationships abnormal and wrong, they would go to jail
and it was mostly geared towards women
-The eld of eugenics, scientists coming together and asking how to create that perfect
civilization
-hitlers government in the 1930’s liked the idea of creating the perfect white person and
spreading it
-the indian act was how to marginalize, control and diminish a whole population of
people that did not represent the image that hitler wanted
-women have learnt that they were really smart, and they have learnt this through telling
stories and talking to each other
-Women know how to take action and that they can be leaders
-any change we make as women make is not evolutionary and continuous
-Women would do all their education and learn how to be domestic servants to their
parents and elders
-Women had to ght for access into all schools and universities
-They never accepted people outside of the Caucasian (white) culture
- white women go to university (they’ll have a great time!) but this a time where
relationships are organized and not natural, the issue is that it’s hard to be good about
yourself if you can’t be loved.
-In women’s universities, you’ll be having conversations that you've never had the option
to have, and you get all new experiences
-If the culture doesn't allow for loving relationships, we nd it elsewhere
-This means that women aren't marrying as early and aren't having children, the birth rate
dramatically decreased
-some women that went to uni and found loving relationships stayed in those
relationships after school
-when men come back and occupy the space in the church was ne
-women wanted to gain some kind of access to having a voice about what was going on,
not only for themselves but for men as well
