Former cbc radio host: convicted on 4 counts of sexual assault and 1 count of choking, signi cant issues raised about credibility of complaints. First complainant (victim) left out that she had emailed ghomeshi some bikini pics before the incident, making her complaint less credible and her evidence su ered irreparable damage during cross-examination. Next witness left out vital info and gave di ering versions of the same event. Other witness left out her relationship with the man. "the harsh reality is that once a witness has been shown to be deceptive and manipulative in giving their evidence, that witness can no longer expect the court to consider them to be a trusted source of the truth. I am forced to conclude that it is impossible for the court to have su cient faith in the reliability or sincerity of these complainants. Put simply, the volume of serious de ciencies in the evidence leaves the court with a reasonable doubt. "
