The articles point is to prove that supply chain focuses on moving information and materials around between companies. It also did not focus much if at all on rival causes which are things that alternatively could"ve affected the end result. The article however did have satisfactory evidence from one company which somewhat outlines the importance of having an efficient supply chain. In second article plantations practiced modern management by caitlin rosenthal, she claims that slaveholding plantations in the 19th century applied the scientific management strategy more extensively than factories.
