The code provides that everyone has the right to be free of discrimination in five areas of social activity: Membership in vocational associations and trade unions. Question 2- does the human rights code prohibit that discrimination. Review: in the common law there is no prohibition"s against discrimination because contract rules. If there a discrimination complaint then the only place you can deal with it is human rights code. If discrimination is against the prohibited grounds then the it"s a human rights complaint/code, if not then you probably do not have a human rights complaint/code. Prohibited ground to refuse employment of a individual based on the grounds of sex, creed, sexual orientation, ethnicity/place of orgin, age, marital status/family status, record of offense, and disability. Only some of these grounds are defined in the code. Treating people differently, bias against a group, exclusion-group or person, Sometimes treating an individual the same excludes some individuals that aren"t the same.
