Describe the factors that account for changes in the balance between work and life in canada. I believe, the term of work life balance means a comfortable state, which can be reached when there is a balance between employee"s primary priorities of their work and their private life style. Moreover, when there is a balance between work and life the more personal satisfaction is emphasized and employees can preform their duties and responsibilities more effectively and efficiently. According to the assigned readings for this week, there are three major factors that impact work-life balance, which are economic, social and demographic factors, which i will be talking about in depth in the following paragraphs. First, the economic factor, which affects work-life balance, includes labor shortage, downsizing employee supply and demand, globalization, nafta agreement and the elimination of trading barriers, which are large players that affect work-life balance.
