The dene tha and christianity: most of them are christians = roman catholic or anglican, but this doesn"t mean that they"re convinced that their own view of the world is wrong. The dene tha gave a powerful role to the roman catholic rosary. Apparently they were encouraged by elder ones to carry a rosary on themselves as a protection against other bad denes. Rosary is used in the prophet dance along with other symbols giving meaning of ritual. In this dance = the circle reps social and cosmic order = makes this shape from important things in their life = drum, earth, and sun. If a bigger group of people ends up feeling like this as well, then they might try to change their view on the world: revitalization movement. = attempts made by people to construct a more satisfying culture.
