How to Learn Arabic

Many people wonder if there is a way or method that could help them learn Arabic, this

website includes a lot of resources but without a good learning strategy a person could be

lost. So I will try to point out to some imp

ortant ways to start learning Arabic, however a

person should rely on ones creativity based on each person s needs because not everyone is

interested in the same thing, some want to focus on writing or reading Arabic, some would

like to focus on speaking a

nd pronunciation. I will start with methods taking into

consideration the general needs of most people based on learning Arabic as a whole (reading,

writing, speaking ).

is written and read from right to left and horizontally. There are 28 letters in

the Arabic alphabet, first let s have a look at all of them

in the table below:

As you may have noticed, some of the letters in Arabic don t exist in English and vice versa. We will

first go through the letters th

have any problem learning or pronouncing:

little bit differently, you shouldn t worry if you can t pronounce them the right way, because there are

always close pronunciations in Arabic, and you still can be understood.

Reading Arabic:

Now that you know how to pronounce the Arabic letters, we will go through reading them, Arabic

letters should be written connected to each other, you can simp

ly think of it as if you re writing in

cursive in English,

like in the example below you can see how the first WELCOME is written, then

the second WELCOME which has all letters connected to each other, Unlike English, Arabic in most

cases cannot be written

with its letters separated from each other like the way we wrote the word

WELCOME. Most letters should be connected like the way the second

are some exceptions which we will go through in this lesson.

To read Arabic you should know that the Arabic alphabet letters have up to 3 forms, each letter takes

a form depending on its position in the word, look at the example below and yo

u will notice that a

letter has a form at the beginning of the word, in the middle of the word and at the end of the word,

some letters however can keep the same form in one or two positions. Compare the

because of the position of m,

the same thing happens in Arabic. The form that a letter takes depends on its position in a given word,

and the difference most of the time is very small, like a longer tail to allow it connect

with another

letter following it.

The table below shows the three forms that a letter can take, a letter in a blue font shows a letter

starting a word, t

he red font shows a letter in the middle of the word, and the black font shows a letter

at the end of the word, as you may have noticed, there is no big different between the three forms.

If relativism is true, can you ever judge something as being morally wrong? Consider some really horrible actions, genocide, murder, slavery, torture or add your own. If you feel a relativist could say that these things are actually wrong, what gives them this ability? If they can't, why not?

Similarly to what I said in the first discussion on what morality means to us, I think everyone has their own set of moral principles and obligations. So I do think that relativism is true, to a point however. I used Adolf Hitler and the Nazi empire as an example in the first discussion so I will use that here. Hitler knew in his brain that what he was doing was good for his nation and arguably the world. Now, as a modern day society we can agree that was wrong. For him, it was good. In his own mind, he is right. But it is relative to the person. Generally speaking we all have similar notions of what is right and what is wrong. Most people would say that going out of your way to help someone else is a morally good principle. Selflessness in society is seen a good thing by the vast majority of people. When I say that relativism is good to a point, I mean that there is a general basis in society that deems actions as good or bad. And since most of us would all agree that hitlers actions were bad, then we say that he had bad moral principles, even though to him, they were good. It’s a little confusing even for me to put into words. Basically, if you actions are generally viewed in society as good, then you have good moral principles even if they vary from person to person. No one will have the exact same moral standards, but generally they all are very similar in society. So relativism is true until the point where the majority of society would deem your actions and wrong. I hope this makes sense.

Agree or disagree

If relativism is true, I don't think judging something as morally wrong is possible. Because the definition of ethical relativism is the moral standard only being correctly relative to each person/society, this means that the moral standard is created by you and/or the society you identify with and therefore eliminate the existence of an absolute moral principle. Since the moral standard is different for every individual, we cannot say that someone is morally wrong. If relativism is applied, that is. If a relativist were to say that they could judge someone as morally wrong, then that would contradict the main component of being a relativist. That every moral argument of yours is correct, therefore everyone else's is also correct. Quite problematic but that is my understanding on the matter

The purpose of this research is to explain some advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of the electronic medical record in a general hospital and specific units such as Neonatal intensive care unit. Also, it will emphasize different challenges that physician face when using the eMR as well as some solutions they offered in order to help them to overcome the challenge of typing. Most importantly, it will focus on the beneficial use of the eMR such as reduced time when charting specially in nursing as they spend a lot of time when documenting, it will reduce the time in half when using electronic medical record. Also, the research will review how the electronic medical record can enhance the quality of care to the patient. The electronic medical record will provide all the information needed by the physicians or any health care provider when giving care especially the critical patient who needs a quick intervention. This reseach will provide some information on how the eMR can improve quality of care. On the other hand, it will be discussed how the use of eMR can affect the relationship between a health care provider and the patient. As we know, health care providers have to keep a professional but close relationship with their patients in order to provide care and give the best intervention. However, when a health care provider uses electronic medical record some information might be lost when typing from a paper-based system into the eMR. The journals discuss multiple solutions to overcome and to reduce the risk of losing important information of our patient when typing or scanning the information into the eMR. This caused many missing information in the eMR because they were destroyed before being verified in the eMR. Some solutions were addressed in this journal including; depositing the data collection sheets and separating them from the medical charts and placing them in the data collection boxes. This might decrease the loss of a patientâs important information. In brief, this journal addresses a very important topic about the importance of completely transferring the patientâs information into the eMR. As health care professionals our main goal is to provide the best intervention to our patient and this journal proved that the use of eMR can improve the intervention given to the patient. This is because it can give doctors a quick access to patientâs information in a critical scenario or even when just proving care.
