They were paid okay wages, and all the extra labor they performed was taken advantage of by the capitalists or the bourgeois class: bourgeois class were gaining all material and social benefit produced from the industrial revolution. Workers were too poor to (cid:271)reak out of their terri(cid:271)le situatio(cid:374)s, (cid:272)ould(cid:374)"t es(cid:272)ape the poverty and illness within this system that liberalism has produced. These problems led to the formation of a trade union to try to get improvement i(cid:374) (cid:449)orker"s (cid:272)o(cid:374)ditio(cid:374)s, a(cid:374)d gro(cid:449)th of socialist ideas.
