Csc is responsible for managing institutions of various security levels and supervising offenders under conditional release in the community. The correctional plan is a document that outlines a risk management strategy for each offender. Specifies interventions and monitoring techniques required to address areas associated with the risk to re-offend. Involves restrictions on movement and actions as well as commitments to participate in constructive activities such as jobs and programs. Each plan is different due to different needs. 7 domain areas are associated with criminality and risk to re-offend: substance abuse, associates/social interaction, family/material, attitude. Able to grant, deny, cancel, terminate or revoke day and/or full parole. May order certain offenders to complete full sentence in prison.
