Just outside the city limits: 4) late modern 1700-1900, 5) 20th century 2000- now. Plays were written to be played not to be read because it requires it to have its intonation and meter through acting and stage. There are two types of text in drama: 1) performance text. Actors, costumes, sets, props, mis-en-scene (ambiance), audience, sound- effects: 2) dramatic texts.
